Welcome to Task Reminder, provided by PANTHORO ("we," "our," or "us"). Our fundamental belief is that your data is yours. This application is designed to be a secure, offline-first tool. This policy outlines how we handle data to ensure full transparency.

• We DO NOT collect, store, or share any of your personal information.
• We DO NOT use any analytics or tracking services.
• All tasks, categories, and settings you create stay exclusively on your device.

Data Storage and Security

All information you enter into Task Reminder (including tasks, notes, and due dates) is stored locally in the app's private internal storage on your device. This data is never sent to us or any third party. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted along with it.

Permissions Explained

To provide its full functionality, Task Reminder requests the following permissions. Each permission is used only for its stated purpose:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
  This is essential for the core feature of the app: to display reminder notifications for your tasks at the time you have set.


• Set Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM):
  To ensure your reminders are delivered reliably and precisely on time, even when your device is in a power-saving or idle state.


• Run at Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED):
  This allows the app to automatically re-schedule your active reminders after your device is turned off and on again, ensuring you do not miss any.


• Vibration Control (VIBRATE):
  Used to provide a vibration alert along with the visual notification for your reminders, helping to get your attention.


• Use Full-Screen Intent (USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT):
  This allows high-priority reminders (like alarms) to appear on the screen even when the phone is locked, ensuring you don't miss critical alerts.


• Internet Access (INTERNET):
  The core functionality is offline. This permission is used ONLY if you interact with external links, such as 'Rate Us' (opens the Play Store) or reading this privacy policy online. No personal data is ever sent from the app over the internet.

Feature-Specific Data Handling

Our features are designed to work with your data locally:

• Backup & Restore:
  This feature lets you create a local backup file of your tasks. You control where this file is saved on your device. The restore function reads a backup file that you select. This entire process happens on your device; the backup data is never sent to us.


• Home Screen Widget:
  The widget reads your task data from the app's local storage to display tasks on your home screen for convenience. It does not transmit any data off your device.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13. Since our app operates offline and does not collect or transmit any user data, we do not knowingly engage with or collect information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the application. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
